Фоминым 5...cb6 6.a:c5 hg3 7.cd6 ab4 8.de7 f:d8 9.f:a3 hg5 10.ab4 ( 10.ac1? gh4 11.cb2 de7 12.ba3 ef6 13.ab2 fg5 14.bc1 gh2 15.c:h6 hg3 16.hf8 gf2 17.g:e3 hg1 18.ed4 g:b6= ) 10...gh4 ( 10...dc7 - Буткевич А. 1956 г. - 13.bd2 gh4 14.db4 hg3 15.be1 bc5 16.e:h4 cd4 17.hg5 dc3 18.gc1 x ) 11.bd6 ( 11.bc5? gf2 12.g:e3 hg3 13.ef4 g:e5 14.ce3 de7 15.ec5 ef4 16.c:f8 fe3 17.fb4 ef2 18.be1 fg1= ) 11...gh2 12.db4 - Леклерк 1890 г. - dc7 ( 12...de7 13.b:f8 hg3 14.fc5 gf2 15.g:e3 hg1 16.ca7 g:d4 17.a:e3 x ) 13.be7 cb6 14.eb4 hg3 15.be1 bc5 16.e:h4 cd4 17.hg5 dc3 18.gc1 x
