De dam houdt dan aardig wat stukken vast.
Er kan nog volgen: 3-8 41-36 8-12 37-31! 26x37 22-17 +

Wit staat een schijf voor, maar weet niet te winnen na 38-33?

Wit moet 30-24! spelen, bijv. 13-18 35-30 4-9 38-33 9-13 33-29 +.

In plaats van het normale 17-21 = presteerde de grote mopperkont het volgende:

4-9???

This is really a terrible move! (uitspreken met een heel vies gezicht)

Na 31-26 kon zwart offeren en verloor.

Zwart had 23-28 moeten spelen en wit moet zich inlaten op 34-29 28-32 29x20 32-37 en zwart breekt door.

Even later ontstond deze grappige stand. Zwart heeft alle strategische velden in bezit, maar is overontwikkeld. Hij moet een schijf verliezen. Het beste is 24-29 33x24 23-28 en zwart heeft veel compensatie.
