What I exactly said is CD (managing board of the FMJD) has meetings not once but 4 times a year. Still it is not much and sometimes it is difficult to avoid the feeling that CD works also just 4 days a year. So it is slightly different. I will go further in another thread http://www.fmjd.org/bb/view...

Then something is wrong. We are now in the 21st century. If the FMJD board only meets once a year, and nothing official can be done between these meetings, then it will never work. Probably, you should work more via the Internet. Via a chat zone or a forum reserved to the FMJD representatives. But ...

Nicolas, I'm really happy to read your ideas. I still don't understand why so many people think and speak and so little write. Lucky, you do. So your opinion is now known and surely is taken into consideration. The problem with the publishing of the FMJD documents on-site is more connected with the ...

Re: Zonal tournament in Cannes

Hi, Probably Jacek Pawlicki is the one who will reply. Others may also know the answer. On behalf of "Others" who knows The tournament in Cannes (as well as the tournament in Poland in 2000) wasn't a part of the system but semi-improvisation. Normally 20 places in WCh should be distributed as follo...

Dear Guest,

Pity you didn't write your name or e-mail address.
I'll re-address your question to the checkers section of the FMJD.
Also if you have a look to the thread http://fmjd.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=35 you'll certainly find the way to go for checkers player in Canada.
Good luck!

I would say - try to solve as more as possible combinations.
Start with the miniatures.
Try to find solution in mind without touching pieces.
Even if you don't find and have to look to the solution - try to imagine the final position and check it later by making moves on board.

Congratulations to winners.
And hopefully the people from the second list will find a way to work together with the new board for the draughts sport.

Sometime the elections give an extra impulse.
Draughts needs it dramatically. Also in France.
Maybe after some years the problem you rised here will be resolved as well
